Greetings from Mojave National Preserve!
America's southwestern deserts are such special places. We love the Mojave Preserve's beautiful natural cactus gardens, rocky terrain, and panoramic vistas. Hard to believe such places still exist in southern California!
P.S. I support the parks because… Our public lands truly belong to all of us, not only to local private interests or narrow-minded politicians who would benefit from more panoramic views of park visitors and outdoors people nationwide. Please keep our national parks, monuments, and other federal lands truly public. Don't let corporate or private special interests take them away from us!
Mojave National Preserve
Mojave National Preserve's vast expanse of desert lands includes one of the most diverse desert environments in the world, representing three of the four major North American deserts: the Mojave, Great Basin, and Sonoran. The Preserve is a land of old mountain ranges, sand dunes, great mesas and volcanic features such as cinder cones, domes, and lava flows.
