Greetings from Great Smoky Mountains National Park!
My husband and I have been to this Park several times and because of the time of year ( spring) we were never able to go up by Clingmans Dome. This spring we were finally able to drive up there. What a view!! It was very windy and cold but we just couldn't believe the colors the view offered us. Of course with the fires last year the park may look a bit different but none the less beautiful. I wouldn't want these views to be altered by any means. All our Parks are wonders of the world and every time I walk in them I feel renewed. I've been to several of our parks and each one brought me peace and overwhelming beauty.
P.S. I support the parks because… Because more now than ever we need to see beautiful things. Our Parks give us so much. Just am hour in one makes you feel better. I would hate to see our parks littered with man-made things. We need the parks and they need us.
