Greetings from Badlands National Park!
The Badlands was my first park west of the Mississippi. I still get chills thinking about the grand scale and peacefulness of the area. It inspired my desire to go out and explore other parks around the country.
P.S. I support the parks because… Because I think its important to preserve these sights for generations after us to see and experience
Badlands National Park
Badlands National Park preserves 244,000 acres of sharply eroded buttes, pinnacles, and spires blended with the largest protected mixed-grass prairie in the United States. The park's rugged beauty attracts visitors from around the world, and its geologic deposits contain the world's richest Oligocene epoch fossil beds, estimated at 23 to 35 million years old.
