Greetings from Grand Canyon National Park!

Growing up, my Father thought it was important for us to see as much of our country as possible. We always drove so we could stop at anything that caught our eye, the Grand Canyon being his favorite. When my husband and I started having children of our own, I wanted the same experiences for them. My children are now young adults and we have only three states left in our great country to visit. We have seen wonderful places but by far our favorites are our national parks.

Sincerely,

Diane

P.S. I support the parks because… If we lose these beautiful landscapes, we will never get them back.

Grand Canyon National Park

Found on the Colorado Plateau in Arizona, the Grand Canyon National Park is one of the most studied geologic landscapes in the world. The canyon, created when drainage systems carved the semi-arid desert, offers a record of three of the four eras of geologic time and supports five of the seven life zones. The park protects endemic and threatened species and rare ecosystems like the boreal forest.
