Greetings from Joshua Tree National Park!

Four generations - my grandmother, mother, daughter, and I - visited Joshua Tree National Park in the spring. There were yuccas, joshua trees, and wildflowers in bloom. With a 3 year old and an 81 year old, we weren't as mobile as some of the astounding rock climbers we saw while in the park. We drove to several spots, parked, then walked a short distance to numerous scenic locations. We inspected darkling beetles, sparkly stones in the sand, scrambled up rock formations, and took a walk amongst the joshua trees. What a memorable road trip, with good company and gorgeous vistas!

Happy trails!

Annie

P.S. I support the parks because… they provide a safe and beautiful place for me to enjoy nature with my family.

Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree is an oft forgotten jewel overshadowed by the likes of Yosemite, Grand Canyon, and Death Valley. But, for those looking for great hikes, rock climbing, rappelling, and the unique Joshua tree, this park has much to offer.
